If Shel bails out on Roman, why did she double-back to the Truck Stop come day 400?

Did Roman's group collapse, and if so, how?

Is he looking for her elsewhere?

Do you think he's even looking for her at all?

    He was looking for her and then took to the water to become a twisted pirate captain. On to bigger and better things.

    In all seriousness, he has the potential to be a real prick of an antagonist in S2.

    I really don't think he's looking for her. I doubt Shel even thinks he's looking for her. Why else would she leave a photo of herself and a map pointing to her exact location at the last place he was confirmed to be staying? She has to be pretty sure he's either given up on his search or dead.

    Based on Russell's words about how the truck stop was right off the highway and that there was no way Shel and a bunch of old people were going to defend it, I'm guessing they were raided by bandits/other survivors and but got away since Becca was worried that he might still be out there.

    I agree her coming back in that version really makes no sense at all. Even if you think he's stopped you wouldn't go back there

    Wyatt said they was there, so maybe Shel didn't go there, only the others.
