How could I activate games I bought on Steam?

Hello everyone and people at Telltale games!

I bought most of my telltale games on this website. I really enjoy my games but I was wondering if I can activate my games on steam?

Why do you ask? I thought that maybe there are some updates made on the steam platform that I cannot know of when I download the installer from the telltale website. So to make sure that my games are always up to date and that bugs are fixed, I would really appreciate to be able to activate my telltale games on steam.

I already tried to activate some of them with the serial number (when I have one like Sam & Max...) but the SN is invalid on steam.

    You can't.

    If you want your Telltale games on Steam you have to buy them on Steam.

    also don't be silly. Telltale rarely updates games. If you downloaded them all within this year they are up to date anyway.

    The version on Steam and the one available from Telltale's own site are two different versions, and you cannot activate one with the serial code from another.

    You can, however, get a Steam key for Poker Night if you bought it here. But that is because of the Team Fortress 2 unlockables.
