If Kenny had a heart attack in the meat locker .

If it was Kenny who passed out in the meat locker instead of Larry and Larry wants to kill him so than he won't come back as a walker , would you kill him or save him ?

    Of course save him.

Save him, I would like the guy more then Larry and if he came back he would not be as big a threat as Larry the asshole walker.

As much as I am ashamed to say it, I'd kill him. The only reason I tried to save Larry was because of Lilly begging for me to save him. And if he dies no matter what, like Larry, then I'd just hesitate less. Sorry, everyone in Team Kenny.

Well then just imagine in this version of the meatlocker scene Katjaa is there to.

If they gave us a choice under the exact same circumstances? Hm... I would probably choose kill, unless Clementine wasn't there. However, it would be a much tougher decision. See, Larry was a walking piledriver, I doubt that, without any sort of weapons, if he came back as a zombie, anyone in that meatlocker would have been able to overpower and kill him. Kenny on the other hand? Both Larry and Lee have proven able to best Kenny in a physical struggle, so... he'd be less of a threat. But still a threat. Hell, I don't know. It could go either way with me, really.

If Katjaa was there, then it'd be harder but still... I'd still have to kill him. The stakes would be way too high if everyone was the meat locker and Kenny was about to turn. And plus if he pounced onto Clem/Duck/Katjaa, they would more than likely get bitten. Really, in the end of the day, I'd probably just stay quiet and not side with anyone.

Even though I know Kenny would happily throw a salt lick on anyone's head if it wasn't him...

Save him of course I'm not a bad Guy...

Hey! I didn't kill anyone I didn't have to in the actual game excluding mercy kills.
    500th post BTW!! :D

I'd do the exact same thing I did with Larry, give him a chance to come around before offing him with the saltlick.

Granted, it's darkly amusing to visualise Larry crushing Kenny's head with the saltlick in an alternate reality.

Of course I'd try to save Kenny!...... Don't give me look, I know I killed Larry it's just..... Kenny's different :(

It's a scratch! He's not like the others. Jesus, all ya'll are just makin' it worse!

Anyways, I tried to save Larry, and I'd do the same for Kenny.

    He wasn't bitten!

What is the goddamn deal!? He's a little sick, but we can't just quit!

I um... Can't remember any quotes :D.... GODDAMMIT BEN!

    I can't remember any more myself, actually...:p

I believe it went What is the goddamn deal!? He's a little sick, but we can't just quit!, then It's a scratch! He's not like the others. Jesus, all ya'll are just makin' it worse! then he talks about it's his fault.

Wow, I'm surprised I actually remember those lines!:D

I talked him down. The fight scene is so goddamn good through. But I prefer to talk him down.
  • edited August 2013
    Good memory.
  • edited August 2013
Eh, I didn't really like talking him down because Kenny was such an unjustified, whiny baby in that scene. "Blah blah blah I let Shawn die, now Duck is gonna die because of me. But I'm just gonna sit here and feel sorry for myself while that happens, lol.:p"

Unless you choose the "Stop thinking about yourself", then that scene is awesome. :D

"...Well there's no room for that shit. This isn't about you. This is about a woman back there who needs her husband, and a boy who needs his dad!"

It was one of the few moments in the game where Lee could finally call Kenny out on being a selfish prick.

I never saw Kenny as selfish, but I guess he can be, I was to blinded by our friendship to notice.

I'd probably end up saving him. Unlike Larry, Kenny isn't built like a brick shithouse, so he'd be easier to handle if he DID turn.

Not necessarily. Travis was a scrawny teenager and he almost killed Lee and Katjaa. I'd still save both Larry and Kenny though.:D

kill because of the urban scene :D .."pick thst lock you motherf*cker ! :p

He also had the element of surprise. With each chest compression, I would actually be expecting Kenny to leap up and try to take a bite out of neck. I would be expecting the same with Larry, but his massive size means I could do almost nothing. Kenny, on the other hand, doesn't have that problem, so I'm willing (enough) to take that risk.

Of course, that's assuming it's just CPR. No [EXLPETIVE REDACTED] way am I giving anyone mouth to mouth in a zombie apocalypse. Not Larry, not Kenny, not Carley, or Clem, or ANYBODY. So if ANYONE needed anything beyond CPR from me, I'm dropping that salt lick.

Fair point about Travis, can't argue with that.

But what if Clem was drowning and you had to give her mouth to mouth?:(

This is a really interesting scenario. I want to say that I'd definitely kill him, since I do think that is the right course of action. But if I'm being honest with myself, I'm not certain what I would do in the heat of the moment, with Katjaa and/or Duck yelling at me to help him and Larry telling me to hold them back. I mean, "side with Kenny" or "side with Lilly" is much more of a toss up to me than "side with Katjaa/Duck" or "side with Larry."

As trivial as it sounds, I think my choice would actually depend on how much of an asshole Larry is being about the situation. If he was reasonable and brought up the points Kenny brought up, I would probably be convinced to help him kill Kenny (Oh my God! I killed Kenny! I'm a bastard!). But if he's being a real dick about it, I might just decide go against him out of spite.

His chances of coming back (alive) from a serious heart attack with CPR alone is very low. I'd like to give it a go but for him to have any chance, as small as it may be, I'd have to perform CPR like a motherfucker. And of course, while you're doing compressions like there's no tomorrow, Ken could come back at any time and take a chunk out of your face.

    So, pass the salt.

    Sorry, Ken.

If Katjaa was in the room, goddamn.

From a medical perspective she'd understand that he more than likely could not be revived, but in that moment, I could see her breaking all his ribs in an effort to bring him back, and I don't think I could deny her help.

So, hold the salt temporarily in that scenario.

And if DUCK was in the room, then it'd be the worst.

Honestly... I don't think I could. At least not without overcoming my self-preservation instincts, which would take quite a bit of effort. If it were different, like we didn't KNOW for CERTAIN that you only have to die to come back, I'd like to think I would. But if I thought she was too far gone, I don't think I could. CPR, yes, I'd do that to hell and back. I just can't consider anything that involves me putting my mouth (or my damn-near-anything) against a walker's (or even a possible soon-to-be walker's) mouth or face area to be an option (having to kill one in self defense is obviously excluded from that).

I kind of panicked and went with my gut instinct in the meatlocker scene and decided to side with Kenny. It was for many reasons and although I didn't think of it at the time, possibly Lee's rivalry with Larry (and sometimes Lilly) may have led me to make that decision.

So I'm not so sure if it was Kenny. I think most likely I would save him.

And that's the thing, ideally with a child, and especially a near drowned/drowned one you're going to have give her some rescue breaths. Her airway is compromised.

I completely get what you are saying though.

Yes Ehkay doesn't want to kill Larry because he is Lilly's dad . But with Kenny it's different story because it's not as if this would affect his wife and child ( oh wait he hates them ) . This pretty much proves that Ehkay loves villains and hates heroes .

If he died in the meat locker, I probably would've made it across that balcony!
