Does anybody have the vita version?

edited August 2013 in The Walking Dead
I'm thinking about getting the vita version today but there doesn't seem to be any reviews or any ratings. It came out today so I figured somebody must have it by now. If so tell me your thoughts on it please? Is it worth rebuying the series on? Does it perform well?

Thanks

I am going to guess it's roughly the same as are version, if that is the case then I do not see why not to get it.

The physical copy won't be out for awhile but the Vita version is already out downloading it now at 400MB out of 2229MB

Great, when you play it could you respond with your thoughts on it? Is it worth buying again?

I just played a bit on my Vita. Some background: I've finished the game on my PC. Early footage of the Vita version looked a bit choppy, so I was a little worried about the finished product, but I really do love this game, and the Vita, so I thought I'd give it a go. First impressions (just met Kenny): touch screen controls are great, runs great, looks beautiful on the Vita screen. I'm honestly enjoying it more than my PC playthrough. These are, as I said, early impressions, but so far, I'd say it's excellent, and recommend that anyone interested should grab it.

Yeah, it's an excellent port. It feels right at home on the system. I'm pretty surprised how well it turned out, as I expected it to be just something they knocked out, but it looks amazing and performs perfectly, and the controls are excellent. Highly recommended.

That is great, the Walking Dead lives again, and this is of topic but I am even more hyped for season 2 after hearing about what Wolf Among Us has, they said that the save glitch and the lag between scenes is completely gone, amazing.

Oh man, I hope so. I love what Telltale does, and Walking Dead has superlative writing, but man, that glitchiness. I hope Season 2 and Wolf Among us knock out the problems.

I know, if it had no glitches there would be nothing to complain about, it's still my game of the year and still a 10/10 but those glitches drove me mad, thank god they promised it will be gone in both TWAU and season 2, along with even better graphics.

The glitches broke the mood sometimes so I'm glad they are getting fixed.

I am sure, from the sound of it it was the engines fault, which is why they could not just patch it like that, so new engine no save glitch.

The Vita is worth it!!! I played TWD everywhere I wanted to be IRL xD. and the quality is great also. I recommend this!

I don't recommend playing it while on the bus, it will be a little awkward to be crying in public.

The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead Season Two will use the same engine, just an improved version of it.

The Telltale Tool (Telltale's game engine) has been used since their very first game, Telltale Texas Hold'Em, way back in 2005. It's had many improvements since then, but every new season just features a new version of the same engine.

I know, I am guessing that it had to be this version of the engine, its the only reason that makes sense other then don't want to waste time patching the most annoying glitch in the game.
