If you shot ___, did ____ miss?

edited August 2013 in The Walking Dead
I replayed the the episode 5 ending and it looks as though clem's gun bobbed a bit as the shot fired, and there was only one shot in the gun left. It might just be the kick when a bullet fires, but do you think clem missed and we will see walker Lee in season 2?

In the last second she did look at Lee, and i think she checked if he's really dead. We see a red screen as Clementine shoots, so no walker Lee in season 2, he is handcuffed-locked in a room.

Well if there was one shot in the gun and she uses it on Lee, she could have still missed. Also, even if he is handcuffed, he will still come back as a walker unless his brain is destroyed. If Clem missed his head then it's still possible.

I mean, if he hand-cuffed he can't escape, even if he will the door is closed.

Well yeah Walker Lee can't get out into the open, but a survivor could come across the jewlery store and see Walker Lee. Maybe the next protaganist?
  • edited August 2013
    Probably, and he killed him.

I honestly hope not . It would make the last choice pointless if Lee comes back as a walker no matter .

...which, when you think about it, would be nothing new? The only choices in the game so far that really changed something significant (for a short while anyway) are choosing between Carley and Doug and saving/dropping Ben. That's it. Kenny kills Larry no matter how you act, Lilly leaves no matter what you do, the Stranger focuses on Lee and Clementine instead of the people who actually stole from the car even if you choose not to, both Omid and Christa make it on the train, no matter which one you choose to help (or, hell, even not helping either) and cutting your arm off does nothing to impede Lee in any way. Or help him. So it wouldn't surprise me much if we would see Lee walker irregardless of what we chose, provided his appearance as a walker has any sort of significance to the story.

However, I doubt Lee will make an appearance. His story's done, and his ultimate fate is best left to the player.

Many people liked Lee and it would be a major blow by Telltale if they decide to make him a walker no matter what .
Who knows , maybe in season 2 we are going to play as a random survivor in Savannah and we are going to travel to the jewerly store and see if Lee is dead or if he is a walker .

I could imagine someone coming into the Jewlery store season 2 and either finding a non cuffed walker 1-2 hands or a cuffed walker 1-2 hands or a Dead corpse either cuffed or not cuffed with 1-2 hands...
It would invalidate your choice if they forced a Lee walker upon people...

I hope she shot him... she owed lee enough to make sure he didn't come back

By the way , considering how AWFUL Doug/Carley's corpse looked , can you imagine Lee's corpse after 400 DAYS . I don't even want to imagine . :(
  • edited August 2013
Would probably be little more than bones with remnants of his clothes on. Better than stumbling upon him in a still rotting stage, like Carley/Dough.

The corpse need to look good? you want it to look like brad pitt?

I din't say that ! What I'm trying to say is that it was horrible looking at their corpses !

Seriously this again,he's dead people as dead as Larry with his head smashed in,I highly doubt Clem would miss from point blank range when she was able to shoot the walkers attacking Molly(A shot Lee coudn't even make) and determinantly shoot the stranger in the head aswell

I think they just delayed the gunshot and the muzzle flash, but not the recoil.

So what, that "dying breath" at the end was just a sigh of disappointment? "Goddamn it, Clem. How many times did I tell you to stop locking your arms."

Seriously though, no. Having Clem muster up the courage to put down her father figure before he turns into a monster and then missing the shot would be the dumbest thing ever.

Wrong, if you handcuff the stuck walker, then it will rip it's own arm off to get clementine.

This happened to me. Nearly shat myself when that happened. I wish I had handcuffed Lee instead. When the camera panned over to his arm, I couldn't put 2 and 2 together like the schmuck I am. "Handcuffs on myself? That doesn't make sense..." *Facepalm*

I put it on the walker instead, when I replayed for 400 Days I put them on Lee, it just sounds better to begin and end 2012's game of the year in cuffs.

Yeah it's really some beautiful symbolism

    Great bookends, for sure.

I think no matter what we will revisit that room as well as confront walker lee. If he didnt escape the room, his arm will most definetely be either rotted off (as displayed by the last walker encounter if you handcuff it). Not to mention after the screen turns to black... if lee is shot you HEAR him sigh. I dont know, i played the ios version, maybe this was debunked? I hope.

He also started and ended limping.

And the way you toss Clem the bat is very similar to Clem handing you the hammer, and I guess the first time you see her she is on a hill and it's hard to tell if she is a girl or a zombie, kind of like how season 1 ended.
  • edited August 2013
Also, if you didn't shoot him, Lee begins and ends his adventure in the zombie apocalypse collapsed on the ground, leaning on his right side, with his head resting against something.

(As demonstrated in the video below)

Maybe he died the same way if you shoot him, you just never see it.
