After third of season finale changes?

edited August 2013 in The Walking Dead
Hey guys, Ive noticed one key thing about the battles. that being that the game always wins, where the show always loses. Now Ive been wondering, would people like a way for this streak to stop? Perhaps I could put in some logic and reason towards the fight instead of leaving it up to other people. but the thing is I like knowing your opinion and inputing them into these fights. Well, I want to hear your suggestions on the matter. Should I just leave things as is? Should I base it purely off logic and reason/ Or, if you can tell me how it would work, Combine the two? Dont take this post the wrong way, I HIGHLY preffer the game over the show, but I enjoy the show as well. I really need your guys's help with this.

You seem to have a really good feel for the game and show characters, so I'd just continue to mix things up as you have been doing, such as with the Shane/Lilly fight. Yes, technically, (Walker) Lilly won (appealing to the poll) but Shane killed Lilly first, so, it's realistic.

Use the poll and more importantly the discussion/suggestions that follow as inspiration but ultimately throw your own commonsense into it. It's your baby.

I say combine to two, the game is miles ahead of the show but the show is far from the worse thing ever put on TV.

I am not sure how ether, maybe after every five or ten wins you use logic?

Nah, these should be solely based off of public voting. Otherwise, we wouldn't have any investment in these fights. But there are ways to keep people more "honest" with their voting.

People have a hard time voting for certain defeat/death for a character that they like, even if they think he/she's going to lose. So maybe have a scale instead of a binary voting system. On one end of the scale is Character A having a 100% chance of winning and on the other end is Character B having a 100% chance of winning. A staunch Kenny supporter would have a hard time voting for Daryl over Kenny outright but would probably be okay with giving Daryl a higher probability for victory than Kenny.

Also make the votes public so we'll all know who's "rigging the vote" so to speak.

I actually love that plan, beats what I was going to say.

Yes, make the votes public ;)

But, otherwise, you're managing to make me happy, despite the inane outcome of some of the polls.

I agree public voting is a must.

The thing is, you're already doing it, hence the Lilly/Shane outcome. It was clever.

Thanks guys! I really like the public voting idea, and the vote for their chance to win idea. After the 1/3 season finale of course.
