Why did you save Carley?

edited August 2013 in The Walking Dead
For the people who saved Carley instead of Doug...

Why?

1. She was nice to Lee and was useful with her sharp eyes and intelligence.

2. Because she was kinda pretty and ...girl.

3. your own reason.

Just curious.

Mine was 1.

In the words of the Stranger, I let a boy die to save the pretty girl with a gun. That's the essence of it.

Aaaalso that pretty girl happened to save my life twice, showed trust in me even though I was a murderer and came with me to a highly dangerous mission without a second thought. No way I was going to let her get eaten after that. I owed her that much at the least.

Because she was a good shot.

Simple she saved my life twice,I owed her. I think not picking her is a bad thing to do but thats just my opinion.

I saved her because she was a hot piece of ass and I saw the potential of fucking her...

however, that scene at the end of Two where she gets her brains blown out, wow that was hard to watch. It shocked me even more than the Larry scene...

and then yesterday I was playing 400 days, Russel's chapter and I see her corpse and I'm like... "fuck you telltale" why would you do that to me? It was hard seeing her like that...

I wouldn't expect a deeper level of insight from an early '90s MTV cartoon.

Honestly through my first playthrough, I thought she could just grab the gun, shoot the walker on doug, and save herself as well, because there was only one walker on her.
The two were actually really great characters though, they had realistic abilities, unlike Molly, too bad we didn't see much use of either.

I liked Doug better because I knew that we already had someone who could shoot. Variety in skill is better than being the best in one thing. Plus, I tend to like the weirder characters more anyways. Then I found out that Doug is a cooler character than Carley anyways, so I patted myself on the back for that one.

I wouldnt call Molly unrealistic. Moves like that are actually possible.

Yeah, I have an old friend who's into that kind of stuff.

Even if I can suspend my believe that we would run into someone who was extremely talented at parkour there is another thing about Molly that is unrealistic, Twice she pulls Lee up, the second time especially Lee made a huge leap and she grabbed him, now you cannot seriously suggest Molly had the upper Body Strength to catch and Pull Lee up as he was falling, realistically he would have pulled her down with him.

Still though she'd have to be on steroids to be able to pull Lee up,even Kenny couldn't pull him up(but he had been shot a week ago).

Maybe. To be honest all this Molly talk reminds me why episode 4 is my least favourite of season 1.
