How I'd like to see S2 end

I'm inclined to believe the new PC will die by the time episode 10 is over. Telltale might try to surprise us by killing him/her off halfway through the season, of course, but I think having a consistent pattern throughout the series would be creatively/dramatically beneficial in the long run. It goes without saying that his/her death should be very different from Lee's, but it should continue the series's basic theme of being unable to control our character's death, while being able to control how they get there.

Personally, I hope Telltale provides a more optimistic scenario for the PC's death, or at least a death that's heroic in some fashion. Something just as emotionally stirring, but not quite as gloomy. I'd suggest they look towards the pit-climbing scene from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES for inspiration. Perhaps the hero/heroine could be mortally wounded and on their last legs. Mashing the "X" button forces the character to hit a switch that causes a massive explosion, or a dam to collapse, wiping out a massive walker horde that's threatening Clementine and the last few survivors. Just some kind of ending that's more triumphant than bittersweet.

I'm not sure that the death of a new PC will be a good idea, but if they'll do it, then I want to death of main character will even more gloomy and depressive, than Lee's death.

Without any heroism. Suicide for example (not the because of bite), or smth like this.

How to end? I'm wondering how it will begin.

I'm taking it that the second season is going to end with the aftermath of a small war in Tavia's community, like the Woodbury vs. Prison battle in the comics. There will be great losses (I'm betting on Christa and the baby), but the PC will likely remain alive.

I agree, they can't just kill off the PC again, then people will believe they will do that every single time.

I hope the PC lives, but not without any injuries and the such. They will barely be alive, lucky to be alive.

I really am an advocate of the protagonist surviving this season and having us continue his/her story into season 3(then maybe they can die in that season). I think killing the protagonist midway into season 2 would be terrible because we would have only started to warm to them when they die and would not have enough time to warm to the protagonist for the rest of the season. Also I think killing the Protagonist off at the end of the season would be detrimental because it would start to be a pattern which we would come to expect so in those circumstances going into season 3 I would make sure not to identify with the protagonist since I know they are going to die.

Besides, the player must love the new main character very much, and then pain after his death will be the MAXIMUM. But it takes a lot of time.

A core concept of the entire Walking Dead universe has been the concept of choosing between your survival and your humanity. So far, the game has done a good job of exploring the theme but never really tackled it directly. I'd like THAT to be the final choice for Season 2. Die with your humanity intact or sacrifice your humanity to live on? It'd be especially interesting if the choice were given to you after Season 3 is announced.

A war would be awesome! But I don't want them to stay at Tavia's for a whole season just for it to happen.

Ditto. I'd like a lot of variety in S2, but a war would be very awesome indeed.

Maybe Tavia's community could show up after episode three. That would give us some time to get to know the new protagonist, and his past choices before all that happens.

Well, if they were to do that, maybe it should be like the lever or such is at one end of a cliff and the horse is on said side. And the explosion doesn't kill the PC, just seperates him from the group. And if the next season afterwords (if there is one) has a new PC, maybe the last one would be like morgan.

I wish people wouldn't think like this, people said they didn't want Lee before the first season they wanted Rick. Now we havn't even seen the new PC and people already say they don't like them?

I agree. Have an open mind for Christ sake.

I have a open mind, sure maybe whoever is next won't be better then Lee, but that does not mean he won't be likable or interesting.

I hate bat credit cards, and for the record I was going to post something about the Lilly is good character, but she really is. She is a good well written character, I would not want her dead so badly if she was so paper thin and one dimensional, she is interesting and the voice actress did a great job, I just hate her actions and personality, and lot more about her but being a bad character, not one of them.
