The walking dead, error

I just downloaded "The walking dead" on my pc but it doesn't work.
Every time i try to run the application, I get this error: "Could not initialize Direct3D. Make sure you have current video drivers and close any other applications that might be running. You will need a video card that supports at least pixel shader version 1.2".
Followed by "Unfortunately, this error cannot be recovered".
I really don't know what to do. I'd be glad if you could help me, thank you.

    Hey there! Please try updating your video card drivers and then trying again. If you could tell me the type of Video Card you have, I would be more than happy to point you in the right direction to solve this problem.
