Nope , I would not like a wider range of sexual identities in The Walking Dead. If they put it in the game I have no problem with it, but I certainly don't need or want it.
Now I can safely say that if there will be any gay characters in Season 2 those aren't going to be romanceable, so at least we don't have to argue about that anymore.
I get the impression you didn't read my post: I made the comparison with the clan and neo-nazis because they are in their own way also minorities in their own right. I hate re-iterating what people could have picked up from actually reading and not just browsing my posts. For the record, amputees are also in minority. Just an FYI. I do think however that disabled people would be easy pickings in an zombie apocalypse, so it would make sense not having such people around. And I'm not only talking about amputees here, I'm talking any kind of disability.
Regarding Omid: where did you get that he was Iranuian (Persia disappeared a looong time ago), and even if he was, what says he was a practizing muslim? I have no idea so please inform me about that. But I agree - had he been a practicing muslim, it could probably have caused some really interesting exchanges in the group.
Regarding your point about everybody being the same, well, do you think they were? Do you thiknk Kenny and Lilly had a lot in common, since they were after all presumably straight, white and about the same age, give or take? Of course not; just because someone is representative in some way for the majority doesn't make them necessarily boring.
I sincerely hope your comparison between Jews, Muslims, neo-nazis and members of the kkk was just a statistical comparison and not some sort o… moref moral equivalency. Or were you comparing how controversial being a nazi is to being LGBTQ? Because if you see an openly gay person and in your head you're saying, "This is as inappropriate as a klansman getting to spout off his ideas about the world," you are a vicious bigot, plain and simple. I wasn't exactly clear about your meaning, so I apologize if I'm making unwarranted accusations.
I recall our friend Omid from season 1 is of Persian descent, and is therefore more likely to be a practicing Muslim. I think if it was revealed that he was a follower of Islam, it would have made for good drama among the group. Even if the scene was as simple as them regarding it as a non-issue, I would've liked to see that story. Oh well, the developers' choice. Still a great game.
For myself, I would love… [view original content]
That's who I was talking about; Brian Sommer (the voice actor for Danny St. John) said in an interview that part of his inspiration for Danny's voice was the creepy, "child molester" type, I think.

Don't really know why we have to fill the game with U.S minorities.. seems like we'd just be adding them for the sake of it.
