The last time we saw his axe was when he and Mark were searching the perimeter. Then it wasn't in the rest of the episode, episode 3,4 or 5????!!!!! What happened!

When Danny knocked him unconscious with "Charlotte", they took all his stuff, including his axe. It's probably collecting dust in the St. John farmhouse as we speak. (Unless some other survivors stumbled upon it)
