SAM AND MAX SecuROM problems

Hi!

I've been having problems with sam and max's first and second season on windows 8.
Whenever I try to start any episode in season 1 except the 4th, or episodes 1 through 3 of season two, SecuROM opens up saying "This application is not compatible with your installed operating sistem. Please instal windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or a more recent one." (Traduced from spanish).

I've tried openning them in compatibility mode under windows 7, vista and xp, and none of them have worked. No episode has a compatibility tab in the properties menu. Is there anyway to use them?

They are from the telltale website, downloaded just yesterday.
