Crash at the "what's coming in the next episode"

I'm playing the game on PC via XBox Controller and when I finished the first episode the whole game started to falling apart. The most of the 3D models were invisible (or non-textured) while the FPS dropped to no more than 5. I've tried to skip the incorrectly rendered scene but when I pressed a button (I don't remember which) simply the game crashed.
