Subtitles disappear too fast! (Foreign player)

Hi,

Recently I gifted a copy of 'The Walking Dead' to my friend.
The problem is that he finds it hard to read all the subs, english is not his first language you see.

The subs disappear before he can read the whole sentence. So rather than enjoying the dialogue he's always in a hurry reading.
Is it possible to make the subs stay for a longer time?

    I don't think the player has to finish reading all the contents of every dialogues.
