Episode 106 freezes during the final part

This hasn't happened until today...

Since I felt in the mood to kick some
Hugh Bliss butt
, I launched Episode 106 from the Telltale DVD. However, the game is locking up when
Sam gets control of the saw at the part where you're supposed to saw off the Lunar Lander leg.
This didn't happen until today. The only huge recent changes I've made are:

Uninstall QuickTime 7 and installed QuickTime 6.3 so Myst and Riven would display properly
Install InfranView
Finish Episode 205

Specs:

Intel Centrio 1.5 GHz Processor
128 MB Intel 915 Chipset (my graphics card is definetely not the culprit, the game worked fine [I even beat Episode 106 2 times before])
1 GB of RAM
Windows XP SP2

Tried 800x600, still froze, along with my usual 1024x768 resolution

    I'd say update your directX and try reinstalling the game. You shouldn't have to delete your saves thankfully.

    Reinstalling worked perfectly. No more problems here.
