Branching endings

What is your opinion on having branching endings to The Walking Dead: Season Two? I think this would add alot of replay value, trying out different endings to fit your own unique story. For me, the linear ending Season One gave me was a little upsetting as I was hoping for more choices to alter the ending how I wanted it to play out as we, the players should be in full control of the character.
Anyway, I really hope Telltale put branching endings in both Season Two and The Wolf Among Us. It'd be interesting to read the end stats and see what path other players chose to walk in the end.

It depends on how it branches. Would it boil down to a single choice between two paths or would it branch based on some combination of your previous choices? If it's just a single choice, then the replay value could be achieved just by rewinding the episode to that one choice and choosing the other option. Or even watching it on Youtube. I wouldn't find that to be very interesting. But if the story branches based on several decisions that you made throughout the season, that would up the replay value for me.
And part of the problem of branching the end of Season 1 is that it needed to smoothly transition into Season 2. You can't have vastly different outcomes leading into the start of a sequel unless you just rejoin those two branches but then that would defeat the whole point of branching, wouldn't it? So I guess that you *could *have branching endings for Season 2, but then you probably wouldn't get a Season 3.
Yes, I was also thinking about that; the endings are affected by the choices you make from the start to finish. I don't however see the impossibility of a third season with branching endings in Season Two. Alot of work for Telltale though to make the season find the old save-files and make the intro different for everyone depending on how they played. Complicated, but not impossible.
I think honestly they may have planned this for season 1 but doing a sequel game after having so many branchs is nigh on impossible so they had to take this route. I'm sure the last ep with have plenty of determinant fates.
I think having different endings to Season 2 would be good. Like, depending on the choices made, Clementine would either living peacefully with a community or group, or would be back to square one if not worse.
