WD Ep 2 launches with black screen

Episode 2 launches with black screen and only the mouse cursor and a tool icon visible. Nothing else happens. I tried file integrity check via steam tools and everything seemed fine. Any advice? Many thanks.!

    Please rename the prefs.prop files in
    F:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\WalkingDead102
    and
    F:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\WalkingDead104
    to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate them.
