According to steam it is but we have not confirmation from telltale or any other sources. This means that we should not consider it reliable info, 17th seems pretty accurate and around that time frame though. It's anyone's guess not to worry though we should have a release date soon and hopefully a trailer
I will quote two replies from a very similar thread:
Darth Marsden said. "Steam is probably estimating. Until we hear directly from Telltale, take it with a massive grain of salt."
Vainamoinen added: "Well, at least they're estimating things with a bit of a brain now. The release won't be next week probably, so it kind of has to be the following week. PC versions release on a Tuesday or Friday these days, so it's actually kind of 50-50 what they're doing there.
I think it's safe to assume that Telltale's final console build has entered the certification process by now. This is the final time frame insecurity. Whether it takes two or three weeks, no one knows. So Valve as well as Telltale can only make educated guesses. Always take that into account when you see a release date more than ten (!) days in the future.
Closing this thread - keep the discussion in the release date thread please. We'll have COUNTLESS of those threads popping up during the next two weeks I guess, and I really want to keep the rest of the forum navigable for those who still want to discuss the game. "
