Walker Fetus.
If it's like Lori in the comics, Lori died months after Judith was born. If it's like the TV series, Lori died just after the birth. I very much doubt they'd replicate either. That'd just be boring. Women actually can deliver children perfectly fine on their own. Only reason women died so often historically was due to infection because of midwives and doctors not washing their hands between patients. Lack of hygiene was a severe problem in those days which has dropped significantly today. Women have more problems with high blood pressure and the like these days due to being overweight while pregnant. Other issues like preclampsia, etc are pretty rare in the scheme of things. So chances are Christa would be perfectly fine as long as she's healthy and walkers aren't banging on their door. Women also aren't restricted to bed immediately after a birth and can return to whatever they were doing immediately after,
My bet, if anything, is that if Christa has not already had the baby, a bunch of walkers will attack where ever they happen to be holding up. Christa happens to go into labor just prior to the attack which resulted in them being holed up to begin with. They try to get out to a safer spot but only make things worse. Christa has the baby and you're stuck between leaving the baby (and possibly Christa and/or Omid) or taking it with you. Carrying a crying baby while you're trying to escape walkers won't have the best ending. Suppose the question becomes how far is Telltale willing to go? Judith died rather horrifically in the comics, but media tends to avoid the deaths of babies and even children. Walking Dead is making waves because it goes into that area. So far, we've seen one child die (Duck) in the game among a handful of adults and teens. Will Telltale kill a baby?
I just hope if the baby is born in the game, Telltale doesn't pull a Hollywood and the labor is like 5 minutes. Typical labor is 6-8 hours on average with first pregnancies being longer than subsequent ones. Some women might be in labor for 1-2 days before finally giving birth. Short labors can happen for first pregnancies, but they're not typical. You see those more often with later pregnancies. Hollywood makes it seem like 1 hour labors are the average. The TV show pulled that with Lori's labor and irritated me. TV pregnancies in general irritate me. I blame those on women wanting to speed up their labor because it's not like on TV. Would be nice to see things depicted realistically and not like Hollywood. I'm curious how realistic Telltale will go or if they'll just Hollywood the entire thing. If they cop out on that, makes me wonder what else they'll cop out on.
i hope she and her baby dies. i really don't like her
I hope that Christa and the baby survive..it would be interesting to see what Telltale would do and how they would handle a baby in TWD.
@MonicaBrown - Mind the spoilers in future, please. Don't post them in thread titles, and if they're in your thread, please use spoiler tags.
sorry...
Wasn't actually talking to you - I meant the thread starter. Should have made that clearer, sorry.
Oh my bad , new to this ...
I hope Christa survives. I hope it'll be a girl! We could name her Carley! LOL just kidding. name it whatever you want!
OK, that's fine. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone learns from those mistakes.
What we don't like is when you REPEAT a mistake. I re-named this thread for a reason - the title contained a spoiler which my edit removed. You changing it back to the title it was before could be construed as a deliberate attempt to post a spoiler, as well as going against the authority of a moderator.
Both of those are against the rules. Don't do it again.
Which Lori pregnancy do you mean because you know the comic and tv show both had pretty different fates
Right.
