Season one to Season two?

Okay guys, super excited for the release, but I need to get something straight before then. I bought Season 1 through Steam, and now Season 2 from telltale's site/store. I want to know if the story choices will still carry over? Should I get a refund and buy through Steam?

    This is one of many threads on the subject and here's what I posted in it:

    As posted by Telltale's MattP in another thread, "The Steam and Telltale PC version use the same directory for saves, so however you play on PC, your saves should be available."
