Walking dead loading issue

Hello, I was playing the walking dead recently to get all my choices in check for the next season; and after finishing episode 1 I went to start episode 2 but after it gave me a loading screen it asked me if I wanted to rewind, I click yes or even no and then I am given a black screen in which the only way to move on is to force close the game. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this issue?

Please rename the prefs.prop in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate it.
