I thought it would be someone from 400 days at first maybe Bonnie since she automatically goes with Tavia no matter what. (I know it sounds dumb)
I wanted it to be someone completely knew, but I had a nagging feeling that they were going to cave to this one stupid demand of Clementine.

When episode 5 ended in 2012, I wondered how they could continue this series with another protagonist. Then someone mentioned Clem a possible protagonist. That was the #1 thing I didn't want in season 2. It happened... I'm still not quite sold on the idea. I also thought we would play as another different character that would meet up with Clem and the rest of the S1 cast, albeit not protecting her this time. My theory seemed plausible when 400 Days came out. I thought we had an option in S2 to play as one of them.
...So yeah. The idea of Clem being the protagonist has been in my mind for quite some time now.

Sorry haven't played 400 days in a while in fact i'm starting it tomorrow so I can be caught up for season 2 on Tuesday.

Actually, being a different protagonist that is somehow against the group that Clementine's in seems like a cool idea.

I mostly just wanted a continuation a continuation of Clem's story in some way. It didn't need to be the focus, but I did want to find out what happens to her, especially after the ending after the credits.
Before Telltale announced Season 2 I was skeptical about the idea of playing as Clementine. But now I'm really quite excited to.
i considered it and i thought it would be cool playing as a small child compared to a big strong man like in the walking dead (and the wolf among us) if they get it right its going to be WONERFULL!!!!!!
I didn't know who would be the new protagonist looking back before the announcement. I thought it would be a Lee 2.0 but when I saw it was Clem, I was happy and knew it made sense.
