I liked Kenny, mostly because I think his character shows how a pretty "good" guy can be broken into a thousand pieces by tragic circumstances.

When my Lee made up with Kenny in the attic, despite the fact that they didn't get along for most of my Season 1 play through, I really meant it.

Despite his failings, I believe Kenny did what he thought was best and I couldn't fault him for that (because that's all I could do when put in tough spots... and we all know how even the best choice at those times is still no choice at all)...

  • I have to agree with this post... for the most part at least as I wasn't really a fan of Lily either. I didn't dislike either of them but I didn't particularly like them either. Both had valid points but both made some bad decisions and I lost any respect I had for Lily when she shot Carley. Kenny did redeem himself when he scarified himself... However, for me that's where his story ends. He died. I don't want him to have made it out alive. I don't see how it's possible.

I felt neutral-to-dislike toward kenny. I certainly agree that I would have preferred Katjaa more, although I feel she would be less adept

  • Y'all need to read the comic.

At one point, this guy Tyreese (black guy, has a kid that just died because of some stupid suicide she wanted with her boyfriend) he, Andrea and Glenn go to the prison's cafeteria to clean it up, and they get overrun, but Tyreese could've escaped, which he didn't. When Andrea goes back with Rick to the cafeteria they find him sitting down with all the walkers' corpses around him, and he says "Shit, what took you so long" (or somethin').

So yeah, he's alive, he took one for the team like a big bad mother fucker, but he was suicidal, that doesn't mean he wasn't heroic, or considerate to the rest of the group (although I do understand the situation wasn't the same).

I'm not saying the scene was heroic because he died. In fact, I don't think I ever said it was heroic, so you're running on a false assumption

  • Did you ever try to save Shawn in episode one? You can't, he dies anyway, bud.

So it counts as a kill for Lee as well? You can't count it as a kill in Kenny's shoulders because the writers wanted Shawn to die no matter what.

Lilly apologises for ditching you in the RV (if you say you won't leave). If you say you will leave her, the only reason you can't go with

  • That is pretty interesting considering the both of them could be alive and could just appear in Season 2.

I mean you never see Lilly dying, if I'm correct.

I like most characters. My favourites are Shel, Clementine, Molly, Omid and Eddie. Why do you ask?

A better question is what characters do you like?

  • No, it doesn't count as a kill for Lee. I'm not sure you understand my point.

My point is that Kenny had the CAPABILITY to at least TRY to save Shaun, but he didn't.

If Lee saves duck first, he then tries to save Shaun. Kenny just runs off and leaves him to die.

You can say 'he was getting his kid to safety'; he could have just put duck down and ran to help. Duck wouldn't be in any danger.

  • I think he would have stayed for Katjaa, which shows that he wasn't only influenced by situation and was influenced by personal relations.
