Did anyone notice this?
So I have been going through season 1 to get ready for season 2 and I noticed something about Clem's hat. At the end of episode 4 where Lee gets bitten by the walker, he gets blood on the left side of the front of the hat. After watching the season 2 trailer, you can see that the blood is still there. I wonder if Clem chose not to get the blood out or it just won't come out. Anyway I just thought that was cool so I wanted to share it.

White and blood usually stain and there isn't many washing machines or detergent around.
And there's no Billy Mays.
Didn't really look to closely at her hat myself. Nice catch. But yeah, blood proteins tend to stain anything it dries on except certain nonporous surfaces. Special cleaning teams are often brought in after a murder to clean up houses. Just because you take soap and water to it doesn't mean the blood will come right out. A black light would reveal a shoddy job at cleaning. Blood is pretty stubborn to clean which is why it's often still visible decades after it was spilled.
Not likely Clementine really took the time out to clean her hat. She obviously changes clothes, but that hat is her favorite. Blood stained or not, she's not likely to change it unless someone takes it again or she drops it into a herd of walkers. The fact that it has Lee's blood on it and he went through so much to keep her safe might result in the stain being kept for sentimental reasons. After the photo of him, that stain's all she has left along with her memories. That hat her parents likely also got her. So in a way, it connects her back to both her parents and Lee. Cleaning it would lose the connection to Lee and losing it would lose the connection to both.
Maybe the first mission in the game will be: Find Zombie Billy Mays to get that blood off your cap. ;D
How does Clementine know its Lee's blood? She wasn't there when he was bitten.
Damn I miss you Billy Mays. If only we had such enthusiasm in our British telly shopping shows.
I just got to say I love all of these Billy Mays references, lol.
Well I can clearly see the symbolism in the blood on the hat, not like you me need me to point it out though.
