How can i make sure that S2 will take the right Save File?

Well the title says all.
I started S2 now, im in the menu but i dont know how i can choose my Save File from S1 to adapt it into the S2 now? How does it happen?
Because my brother played on 1 and myself on 3 and now i dont know how to do it.

Sorry if this question is dumb but an answer would be awesome.

    Yes, but that's not what he's asking. He's got two S1 save games, he wants to make sure S2 picks up the right one.

    I THINK S2 will load both save games. I could be wrong though.

    I believe it just reads your Season 1 saves from the destination in which they're located at.

    And how can i make sure it takes the right one? If mine is on three shall i start the game on safe file 3 then?

    Once you start the game, it will ask you which of your season 1 saves you'd like to use.

    My client won't even detect my season 1 saves use steam for both

    I am having the same problem. It wont detect my season 1 saves from steam. Have you had any luck?
