Sam and Max: Vista vs. XP?
Hello! I did a quick check of the forums and I didn't see this specific problem addressed, and if it was, I apologize.
I bought the retail version of Sam and MAx: Season One (in the box). I popped in the disc and autorun goes, but an error pops up, saying, with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle, "Error accessing the system registry". Upon clicking "OK", it says "Unexpected error; quitting" with a red x in a circle. I press OK again and cried myself to sleep.
This was all on Vista. I went to my mother who downloaded it on her XP computer with no problems.
I disabled User Account Control, and it didn't help.
Now what? >.>
