A Quick Little Reivew for Season 2: All That Remains
Hi I was hoping I could do a little review on her and was hoping you guys could give me a little review or rating for yourself as well.
I may of only found The Walking Dead back in April 2013 and id consider myself a late fan of the series. This game is one of those rare gems in the gaming world it mixes drama, horror and adventure perfectly into one. All That Remains certainly had a different feeling playing as a little girl than a adult was something I found myself having to adapt to but once I got used to it I loved it. At the starting it was happy, and I knew the first couple seconds of playing that my heart is about to be ripped out in 2 minutes and it was. Very very very ripped out. Though I don't feel like the death of Omid was 'right' in the sense I wanted omid to die later on...
But it showed you right off the bat that stuff was about to go down, in the first 5 minutes in the game 2 characters died. Later on I felt like Christa was almost 'harsher on Clementine ' I loved the gameplay around the campfire and the feeling it was great. I could walk around awkwardly as Clementine now (yesss!).
But of course then Christa gets into trouble and more stuff goes down this is were the real review comes in, now there is action packed gameplay were you have to do stuff to get away from Winston. (I don't know what happens if you don't help Christa sorry) If felt awfully similar to Beyond Two Souls in the chapter: Haunted. And it felt similar to many other games, honestly I don't know how to feel about that.
Then Clementine stabs Winston with a stick. Wow. I do think that she should have done it but I honestly cant see little Clementine doing that but I haven't been with her for 16 months and being out there alone hardened her obviously somewhat. Through Clems pain we still get to see the old side of her being innocent. When you meet the little cute doggy it was awesome it was also awesome because of the fact Clem was talking to herself for 10 minutes but she was talking to the dog like it was her friend or so she thought.
We never get to have a heart to heart with the dog because after awhile he wants our heart, like actually the dog gets hungry and tries to kill Clem, this is were to first major choice comes in 'do you kill it. I think that killing it was right, then there is sadness on top of sadness and it really adds up to a major amount of sadness. Clementine walking alone in the forest alone was heart breaking to me plus she is crying so it makes it worse, you get that feeling. Everyone's gone. She has no one left she seems to sit down and it felt like she was giving up. Its hard for games to do this, make you care about the person to the point where you just want to break down and cry.
Then she meets a group and wakes up, at first meeting the group feels like too much all these new characters and half of them come across as annoying. You also are unable to get your point across playing as lee you can stand up and say "Shut up i'm talking". As Clem you just... cant. It really shows Telltale really but detail into the fact your a 10 year old girl you're not a 39 old man the hard for Lee is the Impossible for Clem.
You also meet this girl, Sarah she seems cool and all at first I seriously was happy to see a girl around clems age I was sort happy to see some Girl power or kid power since Duck. Then she got creepy but I honestly thing Sarah just has some social 'issues' being the only kid for over 20 months has to be difficult to suddenly interact with them. I think Clem and Sarah will be tight. But thought almost felt.. rushed... I mean why'd I need to get out of the shed I honestly wanted to stick it out and I felt like I didn't have a choice. In Episode 1 as Lee you could chill in that drug store for awhile as Clem everything felt a lot more rushed and I didn't like that feeling honestly..
The way the episode was ended okay I mean it was good in sense you made a choice but for me the choice felt easier than Carley or Ben. I don't know it just did, also with that man on the shore it was awesome... I thought it was great to see Clem so determined to find out what happened to Christa.
The amount of 400 day references were low Gils Diner and Romans dead body, whatever though hopefully episode 2 will have more. I really just left this episode very satisfied and hungry for more!

For those who cant read between the lines: Redundant, random bits of conjecture and overall bias
This was a terrible review, however you hit the nail o the head if you were actually trying to retell exactly what happened in a childish matter.
Reviewers dont review by saying "Omg so fallout 3 yeah im a baby and then im in a vault and then blah blah blah"
I'm confused but a very interesting review
@K0t0 i also kind of wanted to do a different review where i followed the storyline bit by bit and gave my input at each section in episode 1.
I think this was a very good review. everything is definitely more rushed. But I am guessing that is because it is the first episode of the season, it had to be filled with action. Im sure there will be other times when it is peaceful.
One thing I want to add in though is about the new controls. I dont like the new controls as much, I liked to be able to cycle through the options with my mouse, now you have to click on either the top of bottom of the circle and click the box of what you want to say. The reason i dont like this as much is because at one point i couldnt click the bottom option of the circle thing when there was a really intense scene until I backed up a bit, so that made it a bit harder at times.
