Season 2 Keeps Crashing Right in the Beginning

Let me just start out by saying I had to block my screen with my hand to hide the spoilers to make this. I've been excited to play Season 2 for a while. I've been here since Episode 3 of last year. So I waited all day to play this game in the night, and then I finally start it up. Everything's coming back to me, and I'm preparing for some awesome action sequences. Then the Episode finally starts. There's Clementine, and "All That Remains". I see Omid and Christa talking, and they're walking to Gil's Pitstop, and suddenly, it just crashes.

Great, I think. This happened at the end of The Wolf Among Us. No worry. I'll just start it again and get back on track. I start the game again, and it shows Clementine and the title. Then Omid says something and BAM! Crash. I suddenly get confused. AGAIN I boot the game up and this time, go to Graphics. I turn it to low. I was worried the graphics might be too much for my laptop. I start the episode again and boom. Clementine, title, Omid says something, crash.

The funny thing is that the only time it went beyond the first line was my first go at it.

Did this happen to* anyone* else? And what's going on?

    If you don't want to click, the solution (oddly enough) seems to be turning all of your graphics to high, and turning on all of the graphics options.

    I'm playing on a Mac, and I got some minor stuttering during the montage of S1 at the beginning. Other than that, it was fine though.

    I can't play the game at all keeps saying cannot connect to server. I play on a computer.

    Yeah. I figured that out just a bit after I posted this. Really odd. But I guess a couple jagged animations is a small price to pay.

    Yeah
    i have same prob keeps saying cannot communicate with the server yet i am logged in here and have downloaded and installed correctly.
    Im in Australia so what gives ???

    I pre-ordered it on the website not expecting anyprobs cos now i see there is a whole section on everyone else here in the same boat and no quick fix....

    Season one full bought from ebgames here no problems... then getting 400 days dlc and the run around to get that cos it didnt come from steam a real jump thru hoops
    and now i hear that the steam users are all setup and running first go

    Not a happy camper

    Day two and still no response from the servers..............

    Cant connect to Telltale Servers .............

    PLEASE IS THIS REGION DEVOID OF SERVERS
