I fell for it... [SPOILERS]
I probably should have learned my lesson by now, but I have to admit, I fell for it.
After making friends with the dog, petting it, throwing the frisbee around with it and feeding it, I got lulled into thinking this was the frame for season 2. Sure I didn't have Lee, but I couldn't really be alone right? So I thought, this will be about me and the dog together, ala Fable 2 or something like that.
So needless to say I jumped and shouted expletives when McGruff took a bite outta crime....

i did the same thing with the dog
Wow. I was genuinely happy to see the dog, and I was nearly in tears when we watched it dying.
Plus I had my cat sleeping stretched out on my bed with his supremely contented look, and I just glanced at him when the dog was whimpering as it died and pretty much freaked out.
Honestly, that was the second best death in the whole game so far. Almost up there with Lee's. Such a great piece of writing.
That dog was hungry as hell. Those beans were his prison style.
Bite out of crime, lmao, perfect.
You don't know how much I jumped when it bit her, I just think TTG went out of line, they can't make you befriend it then kill a dog with spikes right threw it!!!
They can when the dog is just hungry and it's animal instincts take over.....That's a lesson in nature for alot of animal lovers In my opinion.
I think pretty much everyone jumped when that happened. I couldn't have been more deserving of it though, because the first thing I said to it was "Hey, you're not feral, are you?" I then proceeded to make jokes about eating the dog because Clem was so hungry, completely forgetting that the dog probably was. And then I kept yelling "Shut the hell up!" whenever it started barking. So I guess I kind of had it coming.
I'm a cat person though, so I'm not too phased by it.
I just wanted to find some food, share a little with the dog and then we part ways. Definitely didn't want to have to take care of a barking dog all season. Sad to see him go out like that, even after he tried to leave me with a nub. R.I.P. Sam
I wasn't ready for the tent poles, though. God, the tent poles...
think of this as an early sign of bad things to come..
we have something/some one who seems friendly at first or at least unsure then warms up, but suddenly it all goes wrong..
i reckon this the first in a long line of hard choices (depending on your view point)
THAT GIRL SARAH!
Dun dun dunnnnnn!
Seems like foreshadowing to me. I'm still not sure whether I should trust Luke or not.
Trust no one.
