    Best way to learn chess is to play a game against yourself, and use a reference book to learn how the pieces move. And ignore things like Castling and En Passant. That comes later!

    Ever since i first saw those i've wanted to make my own :) it partially inspired me in my entry to last years Mix'n'mojo contest where i made a max out of modeling clay :)
    Its a little rough around the edges but i think i manage to get max's distinctive poodge of belly correct :) I had hoped to be able to find something like fimo to do it with but due to lack of availability in my area i was forced to use plasticine.
    It was a lot of fun to make and now lives on my mantle in its protective cellophane wrapper (gotta save those carpets should it ever fall). I also alway wanted to do a sam but could never get the right colors, i came close with mixing but the shape of sams head was an unforseen obstacle; no matter how much i tried it would never work right as soon as i put on his ears

    Are you suggesting I read the manual? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard.
