Does she blame...(Spoilers)

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

Am I the only one that thinks Christa blames Clementine for Omid's death? From the look that Christa gives her in the bathroom, to the way she acts cold and distant at the campsite is really giving me vibes that she places blame on Clementine. It also doesn't help that she acts colder if you bring up Omid and sounds almost apathetic if you should bring up missing Lee. Maybe I'm over thinking it; just seems odd how distant she acts, with Clementine even begging her to talk, a year and a half later.

  • She's acting no different than Kenny acted when he lost his family. Something like that is going to cause a deep depression. Add to that stress and fear and you're going to get a person that seems cold and distant at times and angry at others.

  • Christa lost her lover and her child all love she has has gone she dosnt blame clem she's just given up.

I'm with you, Christa seems to have developed into a person that is even more harsh than she already was. I never really liked Christa, it's just the way i thought she always was so snappy on whatever i said and always seemed to give me a murdering look if i wanted to offer her help with anything. How she is(was?) now isn't surprising though, she's been through a lot, losing the whole group, Omid and her baby. But still, i really hope the "I thought you were dead" is either Kenny or Lilly and not Christa.

  • I thought that too, the way she looks at her in the toilet and the downcast apologetic look on Clem's face.... After that apparently Christa barely talked to Clem, she probably just said the bare minimum. That's why I tried everything to save her, distracting the bandits. You owe her at least that much.

  • I think she blames Clem a little bit. You could tell that from both the look she gives Clem in the bathroom, to the cold and distant attitude she has a year and a half later.

On the other hand Christa on some level probably realizes that its illogical to feel that way, and feels guilty about it, since she continued to take care of Clem despite it. So I had Clem distract the thugs to save Christa.
