Clementine The Badass

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

Clementine is so raw in this episode I can't wait for what comes next! I get goosebumps everytime I stitch up her arm! I am impressed she dealt with it so well! Wonderful episode Tell Tale, Definitely buying a season pass!!! Can't wait for more from the Wolf as well! :D

P.S. any of you guys making Clem into a complete Badass? I love some of the dialogue options so much in this game xDD

  • My Clem doesn't trust anyone she doesn't know. She did not get along with anyone of the group (Aside from lying to Sarah about promising to be her friend, she needed help and isn't afraid to lie to get it, screw a pinky swear). She is in it to survive, the only choice a made contradicting this is not running away from Christa. Clem would rather be on her own with a dog bite then to take the chance with these strangers.

  • oh you think clem was lying ?

    my clem wasn't ;)

as someone who has scars and been stitched up i can tell ya this was well done the gfx style kinda let it down a bit but still a sign of things to come i reckon..

My Clem threatened Sarah, told her to help... Or else! And then told her she won't be her friend, because that would be... dishonest. ;O

I figured that way, maybe Carlos wouldn't be so mad at me (because I didn't try to trick his daughter, I just threatened her to get what I needed), but Carlos was still a jerk (and I can't just say sorry to him, I told him his daughter needs to grow up at some point). Carlos is being too protective imo, even if his daughter is "special" or "slow" or whatever....

I also have to say, I really loved ripping that branch off and stabbing that scavenger with it, and how he was like "WTF?" as I bit, kicked, and scrambled away from his attempts to catch me. I want more of this feeling that Clementine has grown strong and cagey during her time as a survivor. She is agile, quick, small... not as strong as other characters, but I hope she grows to be less and less needy and weak and eventually is a boss in her own right.

The fact that she is young has worked against her for a long time, but I think it should start to work for her. Children who learn skills early tend to take to them more quickly (and can arguably become much better than adults who learned those skills later on in life). By the end of all of this, I want Clem to be a hardcore survivor, admired and feared by those she encounters (but still maintaining the humanity and willingness to care for others that Lee showed her deep down inside).

  • MY Clem was, the choice there to promise or not to seems like she's come back with a favour or you have to sacrifice someone or something because you promised her, but if anything like that does happen this simple promise isn't gonna factor into it for me, she made the promise because she was desperate and needed help.

When I feel threatened or annoyed by somebody I play her tough too. But when it comes to peaceful conversations , I try to be as nice as possible. Except I don't lie. If there's anything Telltale thought me , It's better to shut up rather than getting caught in the middle later ( when Sarah asked me to be her friend , I said nothing. I just wanted my medicine )

  • Everyone kept telling me clem will not be a badass, i told everyone she would badass. She seen too much in season 1 not to be badass

  • without christa or lee most likely clem would not have lasted 16 months.
