What really hurts me is that most of you people try to keep her as that little character from season 1. the point is that she changed, everyone changes, she's not gonna remain that innocent little girl from season 1. She is in the apocalypse for almost 2 years, she's tougher now and she changed trying to survive in this world. And I think the words you're trying to use to describe her are polite/mannered and kind, not innocent, she no longer innocent with all these stuff happening around her. She's an amazing and intelligent little girl, she's tough but still a little child and the game portrays that wonderfully.
I still try to keep her as a friendly and kind person ^-^
Yep, you have a point but what's the point of Lee's decisions on Season 1 when she doesn't see it as a path to take. My Lee is compassionate to others and always give his helping hand. But in Season 2, Clem became a "darker" version of herself. I don't know why.. This is my POV.

I try to make my Clementine be as innocent as possible. I want to catch a glimpse of her Season One character. To accomplish this I use silenc… moree, the sad eyes, and persuade the others with alot of please, please, and please help me. Other than trying to stay innocent, I try to make her be as honest, and helpful as possible when she's forced to say something, or make a choice.
I can't take the mature options Telltale gave her... She's just 11 years old, and still Telltale make her act like a grown up.
I try to make Clementine as close as she was to her S1 character. I can't bear to make hard-headed or sassy dialogue choices as her. A reason why it's hard to even watch a playthrough of season two now.
I'm working on a second playthrough of season one though and it's going to result in a rougher version of Clem, since that Lee isn't shielding her quite as much as in my first playthrough.
I played Lee as someone who doesn't take risks be letting dangerous people stay alive. But I never really lied to Clementine and told her right when I got the chance that her parents were probably dead.
Honestly, i just let the Situations and Options coming to me. Sweet and innocent Clem is half gone already but thats ok. She's similar to Ellie now. But i try my best to keep her Humanity and she still has her sweet Moments.
Then again i was sassy against the pregnant Woman (forgot her name).
I'm hoping I can make her fierce and capable, but her history with Lee will often distract her. I also intend on developing a mildly explosive personality similar to my own. Blame it on that Midwestern pride!

my clementine : You help me we're friends you don't wanna help me well "whose baby is it ? "
My Clementine is like a normal 11 year old girl but more mature and stronger! my Clementine is awesome.
And I always thought Telltale made her another version of herself on Season 2. I am quite disappointed seeing her saying things like that..

that's kind of creepy.
A super hero
I would expect this from a 15 year old girl, but not from 10 year old Clementine.
Blame it on those bozos who are working on season two.
Yeah, this is pretty much my take on her too.

My Clem went through the same transformation as Carl (from the movie series) , Carl grew up in order to survive so is my Clem.
