Is it true that while looking for supplies, you can talk to Alvin?
I saw a thread where the guy said he actually talked to him. I took rags and i thought it was the same as bandages and it appears that taking rags is one of TWO options. Please tell me how you did to talk to Alvin. I can almost swear i looked everywhere in the cabin!

You simply go to the window without the curtains (from outside) and listen to the discussion between Alvin and his wife. Then you'll be able to knock at the window to get his attention.
I didn't look in any of the windows or doors for fear of being discovered, but when I watched my girlfriend play, the first thing she did was talk to Alvin. She couldn't get him to help her at all, though, which was a bummer. Come on Alvin--you're going to leave a little girl with a giant gash on her arm outside in the rain when she asks you for help? Not cool, dude.
Yeah. You can tap on the window and persuade him to help you. You can leave talking to him, or keep talking to him in order to get a juice box.
Yup! He gave me the bandage things and he gave me a juice box. I was a little mean to him. I don't know how to feel about him. I think I dislike him more than I like him.
It is actually really easy to get him to help you in my opinion. You just simply mustn't back off and tell him to forget about it.
He gave me a juice box and the rags, I just took the most polite approach.
Rebecca will confront you later on about it too. I was disappointed on my first play through. Thought Alvin didn't get enough lines. Going this route is satisfying. Alvin seems like he's going to be a cool dude. Possibly Rachel and Alvin will be a Mother / Father figure for Clem. Thats my guess anyway.
Thanks!!!!! Everyone!!!!! I just straight when in the back. I didnt stop to anything another playthrough here we go!
I think you mean Rebecca, not Rachel
Yea I didn't know you could either, which is why I just played through it again to see what would happen My 3rd time beating the episode..
In my Bitch Clem play I threatened to tell Rebecca about the talk and it was super easy to get the stuff. In my nice Clem one he also gave it to me after I guilt tripped him by saying "You're just going to leave me to die?" or something like that.
Dear god I hope not. Rebecca is going to be as bad of a mother as TV Lori was.
Talking to Alvin is one of my favourite role-playing moments in Episode 1!
Hell yeah juice box!
I enjoyed it too, Especially if you pick "I know you're nice" and he's like "I'm not nice!" and then you say "Yes you are!" She acts so innocent then lol.
Sleeps with someone close to the group. Tick
has she crashed her car on an empty road yet?
I'm looking forward to see her interact more with Alvin in upcoming episodes. The chemistry between those two sure is interesting.
yes you can
fuk rebecca that cunt
He gets no lines give him more lines.
Alvin. the T-dog of TWD2
yes,I use the guilt trip approach, political promise, and then begging like a little girl clem is,he was easy to manipulate
yup both black and both have to deal with racism with no lines
maybe he just wanted to help clem
I was like "Your a nice man" then he said "No I'm not!" Then I said "But you are" and he crumbled before the might of Clem's adorableness (Is that even a word? not sure but whatevs, it works! lol)
Me too!
same, pretty obvious hes a "good guy" It should be easy to get him on your side I think but hes kind of a push over so hopefully his support will be worth something.
Yeah considering the only thing separating Alvin from Clem is his bitchy wife. We'll see how this goes in the following episodes, especially Episode 3 just by looking at the slide
I had NO IDEA this happened until this thread. Awesome, going to try this. No wonder I kept reading so much about Alvin on here...
Guess we know who the Larry of Season 2 is.
Just what is it with you and racism?!
What! I thought the only way to do anything was to go under the house. Is the window without curtains and talking to Alvin the only other thing, then? I gotta go try it! I love this forum.
At first, I didn't think much of Alvin, but his scene with Clem (which I missed in my first playthrough) adds some much-needed dimension to the character. It also offered some telling dialogue from Rebecca: She wants Alvin to look out for their baby first, even at the cost of allowing a little girl to freeze to death (or die of infection) inside a rundown shack.
\this is a theme I picked up from last season too: The zombie uprising isn't entirely responsible for Mankind's collapse. Basic human selfishness - people looking out for themselves, refusing to identify with anyone outside their immediate circle - shares a lot of the blame as well.
I wouldn't doubt it. A lot could have happened in the two years since the apocalypse began.
You use that word a lot. You may want to look up the definition before you use it again.
Well, I guess I have to go back and talk to Alvin. I thought he was an ok guy already, but I want more of him.
Think before you reply , Clem is a random little girl why would they help her over family?
Because helping a random little girl disinfect and stitch up her wound so that it won't fester and kill her is a good deed that doesn't really deprive Rebecca or her family of very much.
Lol I guess she can agree with my post Did Racism play a huge part in omid's shooting? It was a stupid post Lol
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
is such language allowed in the forum?
I feel like saying it too
