Shed
I was thinking and reading some of the comments here on the forum regarding the cabin group and the way they acted and why Carlos was so quick to lock Clementine in the shed even though the bite itself doesn't resemble a human bite.
So, what if Carlos knew perfectly well that it wasn't, infact, a human bite but due to lack of medical supplies, food and just basic resources, he hoped that Clem would indeed die in the shed, thus saving everyone in the group the headache of dealing with a child and managing resources and whatnot.
That would also be the end of it, because then there'll be no group members such as Luke or Pete pursuing the case further. They could plead to Carlos because they actually seem like decent human beings and want to give the little girl a chance to survive. Except Carlos doesn't want to deal with that shit.
After Clem patches herself up he just gives in and lets Clementine stay.
This might not seem important and may just be pointless discussion but im bored and its almost 3AM here where I live so my brain just doesn't want to shut off and go to sleep.

This is actually not a bad theory, I do believe that Carlos could have wanted Clem to die and didn't want Clem to interact with his daughter (maybe?) IDK
