You don't point out racism. You're accusing people of racism, before anybody said anything. You started here again with the "People hate Clem being black" without any back-up for that claim.

When i say Clementine is black it starts arguments.

No: When you accuse people of hating Clementine being black, it starts arguments. See the difference?

You're calling people racist when they make an (maybe inapproproate) joke about a recently deceased well-known person, that happens to be black. You're calling the mere fact that Lee dies racist.

You know the boy who cried wolf? Point out racism, when it's there. But not when it's not.

Im sorry i upset you. When i point out racism it's not to upset anyone. When i say Clementine is black it starts arguments.

  • I wouldn't like the idea of having slaves because if you've seen any zombie movie, show, comic their are no SLAVES! in there. Everybody in the zombie world is struggling to survive, some more than others but at the end of the day their couldnt be slaves because there isn't enough people in the world and zombies has only been around maybe 1-2 years. it would take a while before you turn from helping each other like in season 1 to turning against each other to enslaving people. The world hasn't gone to **** just yet, People still have a human part of them. To wrap this up there heading north so slavery would even exist

There's a lot of variation in skin color in the black community from light skinned to dark skinned. I think Clem's father was a dark skinned black man & her mom was a light skinned black woman. Clem turned out light skinned like her mom.

it's funny but clem doesn't look black or acts it, she looks mixed with some asian. But i read she is Black from her parents. But i don't care what race she is she is a sweet child and she's awesome. Clearly my most favorite character of the game. I feel like it's my objective to keep her safe all the time.

Lee and Clem would be slaves back in the 1920's. People don't want to talk about race because it hurts to much.

  • their was child slavery in the game 'fallout 3' [white, black, asian ect] at Paradise Falls. In a post apocalyptic world it's a harsh world where even children would be treated like anyone else.

I really dont see any reason to include a slavery scenario. I dont think anyone would go for it for one thing, and you would need a lot of peo

  • child slaves at Paradise Falls in Fallout 3. What a harsh world that is. [the children are brats in that game, i didn't care if they died]

The fallout series has slaves/slavers and I've never heard of any outrage or backlash towards it. I think I can even recall some child slaves.

  • i agree they shouldn't have slavery in a post apocalyptic zombie world, but humans can be just as bad, evil and more dangerous than the zombies. Playing this first episode shows us that how careless some people can be towards a 10 year old girl [like thinking of chopping of her arm,she would be maybe die in shock especially a child, and locking Clem in a shed without treating her arm shows how humans can be even if it's a child.

  • Very insightful advice. People like survivalhorrorfan87 and Harry Callahan give me faith for the good purpose in an online community. Have a joyful break, and don't forget to be awesome!

So how she get that big nose then?

    the community didn't throw a giant hissy-fit.

but when i started a topic talking about lee calling larry racist it had to eventually be closed, because people started calling me racist for not thinking Lee was lying

  • I assumed so as well. Or her mom was Black/Asian giving Clem those same features as well.

  • Fallout 3 had that town of cannibals. They didn't tell their kids about it until they were older and were to "continue the family tradition." I killed the parents, mostly because for some reason they attacked me. I think it's because I discovered the basement with human remains in it.

  • The vibe I am getting here is telling me that since Clem (Season 1) is sweet, innocent, doesn't curse and is adorable and nice she can't whatsoever be black at all. She should be loud, whiny, and have horrible grammar. Nice. Very nice.

  • Telltale, Episode 3 was outstanding. Is it any coincidence that I made this chat before Episode 3, and it dealt entirely with slave-like conditions? Probably not, but I'd like to think that there's one guy dedicated to taking the best ideas from the chats and keeps the developers posted. I hope everyone reading this is as satisfied as I am!
  • Her race doesn't matter, all that matters is that she's the most gorgeous thing ever
