One question that isn't answeres yet is what happened to Christa's (and Omid's) baby. The baby isn't with them in the whole '16 months later thing' so wheter it died or not I don't understand.

I believe Christa's cold demeanor and the lack of a child imply the child was miscarried/stillborn/died shortly after birth. Either way, Christa lost both her partner and baby.
we might find out what happened when Clem finds herself with another woman about to give birth.
Yeah I though she was pretty like that, probably hardened by her losses. You can still break it though.
She might make a reference to Christa's baby, if she says something like 'lets do this like last time' then it is likely Christa's baby is still alive, she could say anything though.
