Glitch in Campfire Raid

Hello, when I was playing this Walking Dead Season 2 All that Remains, I came to the campfire scene. Forward a bit more and Christa was being raided, so I distracted them. I ran away and that on stranger is attacking me. There is a zombie that gets stuck on a tree, but you have to slide your mouse to the right to do it.
I keep sliding my mouse to the right, but it never works. Anyone had this problem? If so how do I fix it?

    I had it get stuck a time or two. I just mashed the slide button. Hope that works :)

    Yeah, I had the same problem with my Mac playthrough. It resulted in me getting a non-canon death, it was hard to see. Anyways, I found that you can use WASD when the direction prompts come up.

    This. I don't believe you're meant to slide the mouse, rather press D when it signals you to push him to the right.
