How many computers can I install my games on?

How many computers can I install the games on before they will refuse to install any more? If I remove a game from one computer, can I then install it on another computer?

    Right now I think it's set to 20, but it should actually be more than that because you also get a bunch of reinstalls on the same hardware.

    Also the DVD editions of the games only have a disc check instead of online activation.
