The theme of Episode 2 in both seasons (SPOILERS)

Is it just me, or does Telltale always reserve episode 2 as the episode where people loose legs?

In Starved for help, we started off by cutting off David Parker's leg.

Then, Mark looses both of his legs.

Now, in a house divided, it looks like we can cut off Pete's leg at the start of the episode (provided you save his life in All that Remains).

Does anyone else see a pattern here?
