Walking Dead, iPad: Cannot choose to save Omar first

Hello...I have searched, but cannot find this issue addressed, so sorry if it is a repeat question.

At the end of Episode 3, when escaping from the Herd, the game will not allow me to pull Omar into the train. I can tap on him, and his button turns yellow as if activated, but then nothing happens. Lee continues to look around with concern and Omar keeps running and eventually (no matter how many times I tap!) I run out of time.

I have already shut down to the main menu, rewound to the beginning of the scene, etc. but nothing seems to trigger this action to work.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a way to fix?

Thanks for any help. This is an amazing game.
