Season 2 foreshadowing discussion
Season 1 had some foreshadowing that ended up being pretty important to what the over all story was about.
"You're gonna have to depend on the honesty of strangers if you're gonna make it. And if those same people get to questioning yours, you're gonna be in trouble." Said Hershel.
To me, the first sentence is talking about people like Christa, Omid, and Chuck. The second sentence is referring to the Stranger/Campman and Vernon and how they think Lee isn't a good guardian for Clementine.
"It goes to show, people will up and go mad when they believe their life is over." Said the cop from the beginning of S1E1.
This refers to a lot of people from the game. Lilly (after her dad gets killed), Jolene, Campman, the St. Johns, and maybe more if there's any I'm forgetting.
What I'm trying to say is I believe there was some foreshadowing in S2E1, also.
"Sometimes, you gotta play a role. Even if the people you love hate you for it." and "Nobody in this world is ever gonna give a goddamn whether you like somethin' or not. You gotta grow up, son." both said by Pete.
I personally think that the last quote is going to end up being about Kenny during season 2. Telltale knows that Kenny is extremely popular, I'm sure. I used to think that Kenny was alive, but once I heard that quote now I'm pretty sure that we'll see a walker Kenny. I know a user here looked at the game files and it says "Kenny202", but I bet it's just his walker model (or it'll be similar to Omid's death. We meet him for 5 minutes and then he dies). Don't get me wrong. I like Kenny and I would like to see him again (I actually have my own theory on how he could still be alive), but his character arc is definitely done and it couldn't have ended more perfectly.
I'm not too sure what to make of the first Pete quote. For some reason, I feel like that quote will come into play during Ep. 4 Amid the Ruins. I could be wrong, of course. What kind of a "role" will Clem have to fill and why would people that care about her hate her for it? I suppose it could be talking about someone else, though.
What do you think?

I feel that the quote will have some importance in the game and it's pretty damn true. It also makes me think of the Telltale staff ...
