Deleting Series One save files?

Apologies if this has been asked somewhere else, but I couldn't find it if it was.
I've played all of the first series, 400 days and 201; but I was wondering if I could delete my S1 save file now that S2 has found it? Would like to, but wouldn't if it means that I lose my continuity in S2.

    Yeah I think you should be able to, season 2 will have saved the choices onto the save game so I don't think it'll be a problem

    I don't know for sure but just in case i wouldnt delete your s1 save

    I'm not sure, but why not just copy your "prefs.prop" from steamapps/The Walking Dead/Pack/TheWalkingDead106(or 105, not certain) to a seperate folder, just in case? Of course, this will only work if you're on PC.
