Would Breaking Bad work as a game

I know it sounds insane. So did borderlands, game of thrones did a few months before they were revealed. Is it possible to make a exciting game out of breaking bad. Obviously, it could be a spin off. Your looking through the eyes of someone else.

You can make tough choices on what to do what person, and it could result in each ep, rising of your empire from low level to high level with twists and turns. I'm just curious, If Tell Tale created. Would you be interested?

  • Had the Story not been finished and self contained, I would love to have seen a Breaking Bad game. It would definetly fit the newer choice gameplay as many characters have checkered pasts and make complex moral choices. However, we already have a "Telltale Should Make" thread so I'd like the discussion to continue there.

Yes, but only if we get to play as Badger and Skinny Pete!

  • Imagine a pizza-throwing minigame

  • This contains some SPOILERS for the show so if you haven't watched the entire series don't read this. I think it would be really cool to do the episodic games. Like each episode for the game would be 1 season for the show. It would be great I you would control Walt but you get to pick different choices then he did in the show. Like letting Krazy 8 live, deciding to let Mike live or die, etc. It would be non canon of course. I think that would be great, I would definitely play it.

  • I always thought about it! Walt always makes his way out of situations by solving puzzles which might as well belong in a TTG adventure. Also, I can totally imagine the show working with the comic book style graphics seen in The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us - but imagine it with the warm colors used in the show to depict the New Mexico heat.

My choice for a character would be Gus Fring though. He is a very interesting untold story, a fan favorite character, and one that could very well follow Walt's path and the series' theme of transformation from good to evil. His story would also involve a journey spanning several locales, perhaps with New Mexico for the climax. If TTG were to approach Gilligan (considering he owns the rights) with a solid concept, I think that they would have a great shot. Let's hope it ever happens!! I'd love to see it.

  • Hmm... quite possibly, if it was done right...
