Season One will not load episodes other than One

PC user, purchased game from Steam, wanted to finish Season One before starting on Season Two. When I go to load an old save it pops up a warning that "rewinding will lose progress" then the game goes to black with the cursor still being visible. I have verified game files in admin mode, link to support Data: http://www.sendspace.com/file/h56s9o

    Please rename the prefs.prop in
    D:\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
    to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate it.
