Amid The Ruins: I Think I Know Why

As we all know it's console based but here's my thoughts.

What if the scene matters on your choices in Episode 2/3, but because we haven't played Episode 2/3 yet, they made it so the scene is console-based until we play Episode 2 or 3, and the easiest way to sort it out with to make it console-based until we play the episodes.

So maybe we have to choose between going to war with a group or something, maybe we have to side between two groups, and if you side with one group, Clem looks to the left, if you side with One group, Clem looks to the right, or maybe it's a choice in Episode 4 that you have to make. I think that the scene matters on choices in future episodes.

  • I don't understand why you're getting thumbs downed, because I think that you might be on to something...

i've said this on a few other topics, but I really doubt that your decisions in season 1 / 400 days could have anything to do with it, solely because the slide is visible BEFORE you import your season 1 save

  • I agree with Alpha, your theory makes a lot of sense. They might be using the image as a placeholder until future choices are made which determines what the slide would look like.

  • The group thing would make sense since Episode 2 is called "A House Divided", but what is console-based? Is there a difference between the PC and console version for that slide?

  • supposedly there's someone with a 360 who gets Clementine to the left. It may read your first save file before you import and base it on that. I really do not know.

  • This would be depressing. Telltale will win people over with S2 if this is true. It seems like they'd do it
