The first time I played the game, I generally agreed with Kenny. Even when it came to dealing with Larry.
To me, Kenny is the most reasonble, moral person in the game.
If you show loyalty and friendship to him, he returns it.
Unlike Lilly, who's only looking out for herself, which is made abundantly clear when she takes the RV, leaving everyone else for dead.

Even when I've replayed the game, I usually side with him, cause his character actually cares for other people.

You're welcome. If you come across any more cool pictures like this, be sure to post them. Just curious, that necklace Kenny wears in the game, what kind do you think it is? Been looking at it when playing the game, and it looks like gold one.

  • Don't forget how Kenny's voice actor originally recorded Kenny's death gurgles but Telltale decided to reshoot the scene and not include the gurgles. Tell me why would they do that if Kenny was already dead.

I know Conter has his watermark on there, but it would be nice if you included his blog/site so others would know too. Try not to take art from the sources without giving proper credit at least.

All the lines, especially the border on his moustache, look incredibly fake to me.

I ain't so sure. Looking at the dimensions between Kenny and the background, it looks pretty convincing. Speaking as an artist, I'd say there's a pretty good chance the picture itself is authentic.

They look like the same wrinkles he had in the first game.
    At least to me anyway!
And if they are extra, it could be the game designers trying to indicate the stress a person would experience, while living such a hard life.

For example, if you've ever looked at pictures from the 1800's, even men who were young looked older.
Being 50 for example, is not real old by today's standards, but back then a man would be considered old.
Largely because life was hard, the work to provide for a man's own basic needs was hard.
Also the weather would have an impact on a persons appearence, like down in places like Texas, New Mexico, Arizona an Nevada, during summer where temperatures can sore above 100 degrees, would have an effect on the person's skin, as would the harsh cold winters in places like North Dakota, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, that can dip to -50 degrees.
All these factors not only take a toll on a man's appearance but also his vitality.
So back then, if you made it to 50 years old, you were pretty lucky!

And as far as the extra stubble goes, I think it's a great improvement.
In the first game, him having such a huge mustache, and yet having so little beard, looked unnatural.
Having the extra stubble not only looks more natural, but also makes Kenny look more rugged, living the life of being on the road.

  • I think Kenny will have more facial hair in S2.. Just putting that out there..

I think Kenny's first lines will be

"Fucking hell, Clementine? Is that you?"

So yeah, i think Clem is talking about Kenny in Episode 2..

You're not getting what i'm saying, it doesn't look as if it's real because it just looks like a black line that someone added in paint.

    Here's a picture of Kenny:

    And here's that picture again:

The easiest way to point out that it's fake is to look at his mustache. In the second picture, you can clearly see that the lines don't border it correctly, and you can see some of it outside the lines. his hat as well, the lines on his hat look very fake.

I actually think that Kenny will show up in Episode 2, but this particular image is fake.

  • I agree, though two years is a long time in the apocalypse, I always thought that Kenny 'sacrificing' himself to mercy kill Ben was a turning point that proved that his good nature had prevailed over his anger (even if he is still pragmatic like Clementine has become).
It could turn out that Kenny mercy killed him for some sense of revenge, or a mixture of revenge and mercy, though given the Ben-Kenny character development up to that point, revenge would be less prevalent (especially considering Ben managed to tap one of the core sources of Kenny's good nature; family, by telling Kenny how Ben lost his when it started.) I will be pretty massively disappointed in Kenny if he doesn't immediately try to look out for Clem, but he might have found other people to look out for as well by now.

I like what you say here.
And to tell you the truth, Kenny finding and living with another group makes sense.
In that kind of environment, try to live on your own would seem to be a death sentence.

    Kenny ain't stupid!
A guy like him, who's both smart and resourceful, would realize on his own, might work for a time, but in order to survive long time, he would have to find some people.

  • No, they actually come from both sides in the alley scene, and there were no visible escape routes. I am of the school that believes Kenny died in the alleyway for certain. I saw no way out of there short of the Hand of God reaching down and pulling him out of there by his mustache. I think it's possible he survived the dark room, though, because there are a lot of unknowns in there. We saw nothing, so it's entirely possible that there was an open door somewhere that he managed to get through. Also, and this might seem stupid, but either Christa or Lee will ALWAYS bring up the possibility that he escaped. Of course, that last one, admittedly, might just be grasping at straws.

You were acting like that to someone who agreed with you. Quit the hypocrisy.

gloat for what? I have to get over myself? YOU have to get over yourself for actually thinking I am trying to act above anyone on a VIDEO GAME FORUM. Im not gonna gloat if he does/ or does not return. Get over yourself.

I really do like this picture.
Just nice scene of my favorite Mustached southern hero just chilling.
God knows he's earned it, especially after the events in season 1.

If you are the one who created this masterpiece, my hat's off to you.
Keep drawing and painting, don't let that talent go to waste, as that would be a damn shame.
    Good luck cowboy!

  • It's fake, you would see more differences (more facial hair, more wrinkles, etc.)

Let's speculate about this supposedly leaked image from Episode 2.

  • Actually, in the alley you can see him running away.

Pause at 4:28. Look near Lee's left arm. Now, unpause the video while STILL LOOKING NEAR LEE'S LEFT ARM. You'll see a figure (Kenny) running away. I'm just worried that the walker that grabs Kenny's arm bit him, as I can hear the sound of blood spilling.

It's strange I haven't seen this suggestion a lot before:

What if it's a character who supposedly dies near the episode start and "I thought you were dead" takes place at the end? It might be unlikely, but its still possible. Maybe episode 2 takes place over the course of a few days? And Kenny could show up in an entirely different way! TTG wouldn't want to make it too obvious, would they?
