Zombie apocalipse in RL is impossible

edited January 2014 in General Chat

I've seen some guys here discussing what they would do if zombie apocalipse would happen, and trusting and morale issues it would cause. Moreover, ofthen on the web I see serious discussions on this topic. What I wanna know is - do you guys realize that zombies cannot exist in real life from a medical perspective?
Ok, let's assume that after death, there are some parts of brain that could still function for several days even without blood support. But for body to move, it need to have a working heart and enough blood to provide nutriotions for the muscles. Without it the corpse wouldn't be able to even stand. How do you imagine a decomposing carcass of a human being be able to provide nutrition for the muscle?

The closest thing to zombies we can have is a virus that cause madness. The body still functions and alive, but the behavior becomes very agressive and people just start running and killing everybody, eating on their flesh to support bodily functions. But that's not a zombie, that's just a mad human with mental issues. Killing him could be harder than a regular person, providing they feel no pain and would just rush you until cannot move physically. But still, it's very far from the zombies we come to know from the media.

So, however you may wish for it, zombie apocalipse would never happen.
