Intresting idea, I did not notice anything odd about the uniform when playing through (perhaps I need another playthrough). Could you provide some pictures of this please, it would be helpful to everyone reading the thread.

No way. The camera switched to him so we can see his reaction, we didn't actually know what was happening and that scene made it obvious. Also, a lot of people will react that way, provided they see a severed head carefully placed on some stairs:)
