Some cool Ideas for season 2:

edited January 2014 in The Walking Dead

As title says, lets discuss some scenes we would like to see in season 2. (I'm calling the Kenny-Rebecca Salt-lick fantasies right now).

1: After an episode and a half of building relations with the season 2 group, once Clementine meets with the mystery character from season 1 (my bets on Kenny for example), their meeting is cut short by gunfire from unknown assailants. Both Luke and (Probably Kenny) call for Clem to follow them and you are faced with a choice: Escape with Luke's group or Kenny's. This choice influences relations with the two characters, and also alters the next 5-30 minutes of gameplay, after which the groups are reunited in some fashion (1. they both escape and link up,2. both groups get captured,
3. whichever group Clem goes with escapes and saves the other, etc.). Bonus points if siding with the old friend reveals a lot of negative traits in themselves and/or their companions that they have developed in the last 16 desperate months.
This would be an awesome choice as it forces the players in an instant to decide where their loyalties lie, and either way the player feels like shit; they either feel like they are losing a precious chance to reunite with an old friend, or they are dissillusioned by how much the old friend has changed (probably for the worse, too).
2.Another cool Idea would be a 5 minute nightmare level centered around a Walker version of Lee chastising Clementine (interactive conversation) for causing the deaths of Himself, Ben, Kenny, Omid, and Christa (The player can deny that Christa is dead as one of their options for example.)
End the sequence with zombie Lee trying to eat Clem, taunting the player differently depending on whether Clem shot Lee or not in Season 1. Bonus points if Clem wakes up and nearly shoots Alvin, Luke or Nick who have come to check on why she is crying/talking in her sleep.

What do you guys think? I'm a big fan of nightmare levels in story driven games due to their ability to explore a characters deepest thoughts. Any Scene Ideas of your own you would like to contribute?
